MEET LILY
Hi!! I am Lily - the co-owner / founder of Lily Floral Collective. This whole thing started in my kitchen as a side hustle and ballooned sooo rapidly. (terrifying & amazing all at once) After 4 years on my own, Betsy joined forces with me and we made this thing official as business partners.
At Lily Floral Collective, I manage communication with our clients about overall visions, timelines and all of the big and small details. I also design alongside Betsy on all events and daily arrangements. When I'm not in the studio, you can find me thrifting, watching Bob's Burgers or Real Housewives or hanging out with my main man - my 3 year old, Julian. I love what I do because designing with florals allows for that creativity to flow, I love adding beauty into the world through our art and being a small part of life's celebrations. I value being able to show my son that being a full time entrepreneur and full time parent do not stand against each other but can coincide successfully.

MEET BETSY
Hi, I’m Betsy co-owner of Lily Floral Collective - I’ve been designing florals for weddings and events for 15 years, working in cities across the country and gaining invaluable experience in the floral industry.In 2019, after spending three years in Charleston, SC, and becoming a mom to my sweet Josephine, I decided it was time to move back home to Kansas City. That’s when I joined forces with my longtime friend—and now business partner—Lily. Because let’s be real, four hands are better than two, and two brains? ALWAYS better than one!
At Lily Floral Collective, I handle everything from sourcing the best blooms from around the world to coordinating with clients and vendors, ensuring every detail aligns seamlessly. My favorite part? Figuring out how to take your Pinterest board dreams and turn them into real-life floral magic.When I’m not in the studio creating floral magic, you’ll find me sipping iced mochas (year-round, of course), bingeing way too many true crime podcasts, hunting down the best local restaurants, perfecting my home chef skills, gardening, and trying my best to be the greatest mom to my sweet girl.Starting and co-owning a business has been a true labor of love—challenging and rewarding in equal measure. But waking up every day to do what I love and support my little family? That’s something special. Knowing I’m setting an example for my daughter—that she can be anything she dreams of—is the most rewarding feeling of all.
EDDIE
Eddie manages special events with precision and style. From coordinating logistics to running deliveries and setting up production days, Eddie’s organizational skills are unmatched.
Outside of work, Eddie’s creative spirit continues to shine. A lover of theater, they immerse themselves in the world of drama and storytelling. Eddie is also an exceptional bread baker. When they’re not baking or enjoying a play, Eddie is likely lost in a good book or diving into history as an amateur historian. Their curiosity and passion for learning inspire everyone around them!
TINA
As our shop manager, Tina seamlessly takes orders, manages accounts for special events, and designs beautiful personal flowers for weddings. Whether she’s organizing hard goods or lending a listening ear, Tina helps keep us all sane. Her dedication and attention to detail ensure everything runs smoothly, making her an essential part of our team.
Outside of work, Tina’s adventurous spirit shines through. She’s a food lover always on the hunt for the next delicious bite, and she channels her creativity through sewing. When she’s not crafting or sampling new dishes, Tina loves catching live concerts and exploring new places. Her vibrant personality and passion for life inspire all of us!
LYD
Lyd wears many hats at Lily Floral Collective, from crafting stunning floral arrangements to running deliveries with a smile. Not only do they keep our hard goods impeccably organized, but they also keep the team’s spirits high with their sense of humor. Multi-faceted and always ready to lend a helping hand, Lyd is an indispensable part of our crew!
Outside of Lily Floral Collective, Lyd loves making art and working with antique chandelier pieces. Lyd is also a doula and when they’re not busy creating or caring for others, you can find them hanging out with their favorite companion, Yassy the cat.
